Solid experience and must have worked in an agency or in house and also have experience in financial calendar/DGTR work as well as wider financial/corporate strategic comms advisory, IPOs and broad M&A.
The Financial/Corporate PR team in London has an established quoted and private client base, which continues to grow both from its retained clients and also by successfully winning new business. The successful candidate will need to be used to hard graft, smart, extremely driven and ambitious, keen to learn new skills, determined and very capable and organised with an aptitude for creative problem solving and thinking on their feet.
The UK focused as well as international client work, spans a diverse and growing range of sectors, specifically focused on real estate (private and quoted) but also financials, energy and consumer/leisure. Across real estate, the team is the leader in REIT IPOs as well as in the broader funds sector, with four out of the eight REIT IPOs in 2017, the only successful REIT IPO and a fintech fund IPO in 2018 so far.
The successful candidate would work on many transactions across M&A, IPOs, fundraisings etc, and financial calendar work as well as wider financial/corporate strategic comms advisory, all currently spanning the UK, Ireland, Continental Europe and the US.
The team lead has a strong, client-focused work ethic, robust broad PR/comms credentials, financially literate, attention to detail as well as creative ideas.
The team takes great pride in delivering a complete strategic advisory service to its clients, many of whom are longstanding and very active. Flexible working will be required to service clients which can include late nights and early mornings.
