Before joining Newgate he worked at the Money Advice Service, the government’s service for financial guidance, handling a busy press office and delivering research-based insight and multi-channel communications initiatives, as well as leading a project to establishing an online brand for the Financial Capability Strategy for the UK. He also worked at The London Institute of Banking & Finance, leading on the institute’s research, insight and thought leadership initiatives.
Proudest moment? My proudest career moment so far has been working on a project about levels of saving in the UK, where we found that 17 million people have less than £100 in savings. That’s a really worrying stat, but it’s great to be able to draw attention to it and to help raise awareness of how important good financial behaviour is.
